WNZR's Cougar Conversation today features Angela Roshak from the Mount Vernon Nazarene University (MVNU) Women’s Basketball Team.

She is a Senior Exercise Science Major from North Canton, Ohio. She hopes to become a physical therapist after graduation.

Angela plays Center for the Lady Cougars and is the only senior. She talks about this leadership role on a team that has been through a lot of transitions, including having a new coach.

Angela talks about how she is learning the lesson of perseverance this season. She is learning to surrender everything to the Lord.

Rapid Fire reveals that Angela’s support system is her big family. Angela has 9 siblings!
Her favorite bible verses are Romans 8:28 – 29.

WNZR's Cougar Conversation with our MVNU Women’s Volleyball Seniors

WNZR's Cougar Conversation is special today! We talked with all 5 Seniors from our Mount Vernon Nazarene University (MVNU) Women’s Volleyball Team – Faith Maloney, Ashley Merrick, Reagan Nuss, Grace Pratt and Jaelyn Tang.

We talked about their majors, dream jobs and plans after graduation. The ladies shared memories from their time at MVNU. They also talked about this year’s special season as they prepare to play in the NAIA National Tournament (for the 3rd straight year)!
The Seniors also shared what it means to be a leader and the lessons they have learned this year.

The ladies shared the bible verses that have inspired them over this volleyball season.

WNZR is so excited to welcome our Alumni back to Mount Vernon Nazarene University (MVNU) this weekend for Homecoming! We have a Reunion tomorrow from 10am - 12:30pm.

WNZR's Marcy Rinehart talked with four MVNU graduates: Josh Hooper, Class of 2002; Josh Po***ck, Class of 2014; Mike Basko, Class of 2024; and Judah Keith, Class of 2025.
They shared about what brought them to MVNU and how they made their way to the WNZR Staff.
We shared memories and lessons learned while being at WNZR and MVNU.
They talked about what it meant to be part of WNZR's 39-year legacy.
They also gave advice for students what are currently studying in the communication and media field.
All 4 gentlemen are working at River Radio in Columbus.

WNZR is hosting an Alumni Reunion this Saturday as part of Mount Vernon Nazarene University (MVNU) Homecoming!

They shared about what brought them to MVNU and how they made their way to the WNZR Staff. We shared memories and lessons learned while being at WNZR and MVNU. They talked about what it meant to be part of WNZR's 39 year legacy. They also gave advice for students what are currently studying in the communication and media field. Both Alyssa and Nay Nay are working at Radio U in Columbus.
