Alright. I’m done hibernating.

Since quitting my job last year and running my production company full-time, I’ve been averaging 70-hour work weeks. And yet I feel like I’m “working” less than ever. I’ve been able to produce meaningful projects, like a documentary on farming in Alaska (debuting in February) and a podcast supporting a hospital foundation (streaming next week). And I was flown out on four separate business trips.

Work or “work,” it was nice to take it easy the last couple weeks and spend some time with the most important people in the world: my family. Also it is too damn cold outside! ☃️

What do you want for Christmas? Nia wants a new “Elsa dress” and wanted to ask Santa in person at his parade! 😂

My Christmas gift came early: a Mamiya RZ67 Pro II. I’ve been shooting (and self-developing) 35mm film almost exclusively this year and wanted something larger so .creates bought me a medium format camera. This is the greatest gift I’ve ever received (besides the woman herself) and it’s pushing me to finally share my photography.

For the nerds: Mamiya 110mm f/2.8 (shot mostly at f/11) on Ilford HP5 (pushed two stops) and self-developed with Ilfotec DD-X.📸
