Next of the reissue singles of the "SCOOP" album now available on all platforms is the song "IMBAO": IMBAO is a composition, that CYRIL ATEF brought to the SCOOP recording session at the famed Systems Two studio in Brooklyn, New York, run by the Marciano family. A hip track with some reggae vibes and geared around the story of the BERIMBAO, one of the most iconic Brazilian instruments, which you can hear masterly played by Cyril Atef here. It features also the big world city rap and vocals by Cyril Atef as well as his superbe drums and percussion. I asked TERRI LYNE CARRINGTON, who played drums on other tracks of the album, to add vocals - and the result is just sublime, as you can hear. She has such a beautiful voice, despite being known mostly for her thunderous and inspiring drum playing, composing and band-leading.
