Then you say. " God I love you and I want to be a millionaire." When you say this where is your delight? In money.
You say, "Lord I delight myself in you I want to be famous." Where is your delight? In pride. .

Remember, God wants us to delight in Him and not to the world. Sometimes we are unaware but we seek God only to fulfill our ultimate dream - "me".

If we desire to come after Christ, let us deny ourselves, take up our cross, and follow Him. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for Christ's sake will find it.

Too often we pray for God to change our circumstances not knowing that the circumstances are meant to activate our true potential. And most of the time, we lack the understanding by blaming God for the sufferings and pains we continuously experience.

Realize that God will not be changing your circumstances but He is helping you through the circumstances for you to shape your character, grow up, and be ready to handle the circumstances. He wants you to fix your focus on How big he is, rather than how small your circumstances are.

Pray for a change your in your character, than a change in your circumstances.
