WE'VE GOT THE PROGRAMS!

Looking for something fun, entertaining, and educational to do this weekend? Join us at the mountain for some special walks and hikes with a ranger!

Saturday, October 7th @ 11:00am - CHEATHAM HILL HISTORY WALK
On the morning of June 27, 1864, the hills of Georgia exploded with the sounds of a terrific battle. Join us on this easy, Ranger-led stroll around one of the most significant areas of the Atlanta Campaign. Program is approximately one hour in length. Please meet at the Cheatham Hill parking lot.

Sunday, October 8th @ 11:00am - MOUTAINTOP HIKE
This Ranger-led hike will take you roughly one mile up to the peak of Big Kennesaw Mountain. Along the way, you will learn about the flora and fauna of the area and the history that shapes us from pre-history, through the Civil War, and into today. This hike is semi-strenuous, so make sure to bring plenty of water and comfortable walking shoes! Program is approximately two hours in length. Please meet at the Visitor Center.

All programs are FREE but normal entrance rates still apply.
