Kind of. I’ve been through in Edinburgh a few times this week and the festival atmosphere has rubbed off. So as well as cracking ceilidh tunes and daft blethers today, we’re going to have a wee challenge for you…

Think about the names of Musicals - what if you added/removed/changed ONE word in the title to come up with a completely different storyline?

E.g. “Saturday Night HAY Fever”

I’m back my holidays so this is a wee reminder that I’ll be back to full heeeuch on the ceilidh tomorrow morning (Sunday) on Celtic Music Radio at 10:00 for the “auld claes and purritch” edition.

I’m on my holidays, so the staff at my Heilan' Hame will be steam cleaning my sporran collection and fitting a new needle to my grampaphone so I can continue to enjoy my 78s when I return, refreshed. I'll not be on your wireless for the next two weeks, which I'm sure your ears will be grateful for.

However, your Sunday morning entertainment will improve somewhat, for the next two weeks, as the Summer Season of Substitutes takes place.
