Not 100% sure how to post photos in bulk and organize them into albums efficiently without having to go back and edit the post after to add text, but this is a working system. Also, apologies for posting the super moon photos so very long after taking them, and whats more, even after editing and posting the solar and lunar eclipse photos. I was a bit disappointed taht the moon was more yellow than blue...but i can make it blue? Anyway, thanks for the support guys. I'm wanting to do some low light night scapes with no light polution, and some star scapes if i can manage them. Hopefully star scapes don't have the same blurring problem the blood moon and solar eclipse had. Also, feel free to drop day time photo suggestions because I mostly take photos of trees, clouds, mountains, and accessible animals right now, so if there's anything you wanna see, I'm all ears.

EDIT: Side note, how awesome is it that my modest little d5200 and 800mm zoom power is able to get this level of clarity with the moon and actually make it look like the flying rock it is?

I said I'd post them, here they are! The 2025 Blood Moon Eclipse photos! I'm not the type to ask for likes, but I do respond to results. So, for the sake of feedback, not likes, if this post reaches 100 likes, I'll go ahead and post the bad photos and explain what went wrong on them. Any photos in this album to reach 50 likes, I'll explain the thought process and the goal. and general what I did to achieve it.

My measly D5200 and beginner tripod may not compete with all those stunningly high res photos and videos out there, but I think I did a wonderful job for what i hadavailable. Here's a peek at 4 of the 104 photos that made it through editing, the best of which I'll be sharing with you sometime tomorrow along with those super moon photos i promised. Thanks everyone for the support in all my ventures. Couldn5 do what i do without ya.

Greetings, Interweebs! I promise the Super Moon photos from a while back are on the way. I set them aside to edit, and life (and adhd) got in the way. But, I did go to the solar eclipse, take photos of that, and edit those! So Here those are while you wait on both the Super moon photos, and the Lunar Eclipse/Blood Moon photos (freshly taken last night!)

With this new round of photos, I'm going to be doing something different shortly. I do a lot more work than I share (as do all artists) and the more that goes wrong, the more I think it's important to share your mistakes as well as your successes. As an ADHDer with low self esteem, I look to those more successful than me for answers to basically everything. But I find that the most successful tend to share 1000 failures for every success. Almost like a journey to how they got there, and they're usually toning down just how grueling and painful the process was the first time or how time consuming the learning process was. All this to say, along with my neat, edited albums of best drawings, models, and photos, I'm going to start posting reels of the unedited jpgs explaining what incited the results and the challenged I faced in hopes someone can learn from my mistakes.

EDIT: Facebook seems to have either moved or removed the buttons to organize photos into albums? All the more reason to add StumpyPup Studios on other platforms and check out the website! I'll still do the stuff above, but may have to split it between the website and instagram or something, so stay vigilant!

Greetings, Interweebs! It's been some time since we've made a post, but just because we haven't been verbal doesn't mean we haven't been active! After relocating the home studio, we planned an exciting trip to Arkansas to see the 2024 solar eclipse where we took a few exciting photos which have now been dropped on fun merch to commemorate the occasion. I've noticed posts on instagram and facebook sometimes land im ny discord via pingcord. I don't remember setting this up, but I do plan on taking full advantage of it if it's functioning that way. I set the bot up, but i don't recall linking thise platforms specifically.
