Our visit to Nairobi National Museum was a treasure!

Here’s a few facts about the Museum:

✨In 1910, a group of passionate naturalists from the East Africa and Uganda Natural History Society—now the East African Natural History Society (EANHS)—established the Museum to store and preserve their diverse specimen collections.

✨There are 4 permanent galleries in the museum: The Cradle of human kind gallery; The Story of mammals; The History of Kenya; Cycles of life gallery; Numismatic exhibition and Asian African Heritage exhibition gallery

✨The Museum is open Monday to Sunday: 8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m. All year round including public holidays and weekends.

If you’re a history buff, this is a great stop on your trip to Nairobi!
