The edible sand used on yesterday's sandcastle dessert is simply, cornflakes! Take your chosen cereal, toast it (or don't) blitz it in a food processor and then use as desired. You can coat desserts in it, plate with it, use it as a garnish

Amazing leaver's dinner at st Hugh's last night. We served a beautiful roast beef, canapes made by the pupils and 150 mimetic food illusion desserts. We had a cold apple crumble and black forest 2.0 the attendees absolutely loved it. It wouldn't have been possible without my amazing team!
