Today on my way back from the airport where I went to drop my dear brother, I stopped to buy fuel at a fuel station.
Just as I was driving out of the fuel station, a well dressed young man waved at me and shouted "Abakaliki". I stopped and asked him if he was going to Ai and he said yes. I was in a good mood so I decided to give him a ride after sizing him up to make sure I can comot his te*ethes if along the way he decided to act funny.
On our way we got talking and I got to know he is from Anambra State going for a job interview in Ai. A smart dude I most say. Our conversation shifted to Betta Edu and the money she allegedly stole, I shared my thoughts and after I was done he was overtly impressed by my opinion and blurted out "you don't look like Abakaliki people neither do you speak like them"
I was seriously angered by his ethnic prejudice and bias against my people but I kept my cool and asked him if he had being to Ebonyi state before and he said this was his second time. I asked him how does Abakaliki people look and talk and he had no answers to my questions.
Well, I cleared at the middle of nowhere and asked him to get out of my car. He was shocked and asked me why I'm dropping him off, I laughed and told him I am a proud Abakaliki man he doesn't deserve a ride in my car. I added that he must be shocked that Abakaliki man can drive a car.
I got to Ai and reached out to the bank manager where he is scheduled for interview tomorrow morning, he is a good friend and a proud Ebonyi man. Needless to say he will never get the job. Such idiotic, bullfrog, rubbish and ethnic champion who still judges a whole state by the rubbish his slave forefathers fed him doesn't deserve to live and earn a living in Abakaliki soil.
