日本で唯一のボディボード専門誌『STOKED』最新号は、10年の感謝を込めた特別な一冊です。

表紙を飾ってくれたのは、小池葵。

日本のボディボードシーンを語るうえで欠かせない存在であり、その名を知らない人はいない、スーパースター。創刊10周年という特別な号の表紙には、やはり彼女しかいないと思いました。

巻頭では、小池葵の10周年記念インタビューを掲載。

物理的に海につながる、仕事場が海の方（漁師、ダイバー、海上自衛官、海上保安官、船長など）

この仕事だから海とつながれる、この仕事があるからもっと上手くなれた、など
お仕事と海がリンクしている方を募集しています。

Bodyboarders at Work: Vol. 2 – Seeking Participants!

The series "Bodyboarders at Work," started in the last issue.
We are now accepting applications for the second volume!

The Theme: "Work Connected to the Sea"

We are looking for people whose work links them to the ocean.

This includes:

Those whose workplace is physically the sea (e.g., those who fish, dive, serve in the coast guard or navy, captain vessels, etc.)

Those who feel a deep connection to the ocean through their job, or whose career allows them to improve their bodyboarding skills.

Any story where your work and the ocean connect is welcome!

International applications are welcome!

[Eligibility]
(1) Those whose work fits the theme above.
(2) Amateur bodyboarders.
(3) Those who can provide photos of themselves at work (or are available to be photographed).

[How to Apply]
Please send the following information via the Application Form (link in bio) or via DM:
(1) Name
(2) Location (Country)
(3) Job Title
(4) Description (A brief summary of what you do)
(5) Your Story (A short episode about how your work connects to the sea)

2021年発行のSTOKED Vol.8『ジュニアたち〜千葉湘南』に登場してくれた佐藤海斗くんが、3年ぶりにオーストラリアから帰国！



掲載当時はまだ13歳。プロボディボーダー顔負けのライディングで注目を集めていた彼ですが、さらにすごいのはその行動力。

中学卒業後、単身オーストラリアへ渡り、高校3年間を現地で過ごしたのです。

あの頃の可愛い少年は、すらりとした高身長に成長し、オーストラリアの波に鍛えられてさらにパワーアップして戻ってきました。

昨日、次号STOKED、10周年記念号の密着取材を行いました。

波チェック中に他のカメラマンさんとばったり遭遇し、既にSNSで広く公開、ネタバレしてしまったため、既にご覧の方も多いかもしれません。

急遽構成を変更し、STOKEDのオフィシャルインスタグラムでもライディングをご紹介いたします。

それだけ皆の期待を背負った、注目される存在ということですよね！ますますの活躍が楽しみでなりません❤️

一時帰国後、またオーストラリアへ戻るとのこと。海で見かけたら、ぜひそのライディングを目に焼き付けてください👀

Kaito Sato, who appeared in STOKED Vol.8 (2021) feature "Junior Riders – Chiba/Shonan," is back in Japan for the first time in 3 years!

He was just 13 when I featured him — already turning heads with riding that put the pros to shame.

But what makes Kaito even more impressive is his drive: after finishing junior high, he packed his bags and headed to Australia solo, spending his entire high school years there.

That cute kid I remember has grown into a tall, powerful rider, shaped by the Australian surf and ready to show the world what he's got.

Yesterday, I headed out for an exclusive shoot for the upcoming STOKED 10th Anniversary Issue.

During a surf check, I unexpectedly ran into other photographers, and the session was widely shared on SNS before I knew it — so some of you may have already seen the shots!

I've adjusted myr plan accordingly, and will be sharing some of his riding here on the STOKED official Instagram as well.

That just goes to show how much excitement surrounds this guy — the anticipation is real！❤️

Kaito will be heading back to Australia after his time in Japan, so if you spot him in the water, make sure you watch closely 👀

His full story — life in Australia, what's next, and his dreams for the future — is coming in the next issue of STOKED. Stay tuned！
