Myo Htike Tan Thein is an analyst; a campaigner; and an educator in Democracy, Human Rights and Rule of Law who has focused on Burma for over 20 years. Myo Htike Tan Thein is a visionary leader of extremely effective policy, advocacy, research, and training programmes who is always striving for more as well as a dedicated coach who is passionate about aiding people in defining, achieving, and exceeding personal and professional goals. Myo Htike Tan Thein wrote the research paper “Democratization of Burma: From Dictatorship to Democracy and Development” (2014) that focuses on how and why development policies and strategies are very important to enforce democracy, human rights and the rule of law in Burma (Myanmar). He also has a Certificate in Management of International Organizations from the University of Geneva and International Humanitarian Law in Theory and Practice from the University of Leiden. Myo Htike Tan Thein is the roster of UNDP national experts on Burma and other United Nations agencies for peacebuilding and disaster risk reduction (2018-21). The election manifesto of the ruling NLD party attaches great importance to the role of the judiciary, its independence and transparency, including in the establishment of a judicial system that is fair and unbiased and underpinned by rule of law. Myo Htike Tan Thein was also Senior Advisor (2018-19) at the Geneva-based International Commission of Jurists (ICJ) where he led training courses on ICCPR, ICESCR and CEDAW for senior government officers, military officers, police officers, prosecutors, judges and CSOs leaders of Burma under Daw Aung San Suu Kyi led government. Myo Htike Tan Thein had led conducted workshops for selected senior members of the judiciary to give them the opportunity to draw on international experience. Myo Htike Tan Thein had led supported the Union Attorney General`s Office (UAGO) with the overall aim of contributing to the development of a national legal framework in compliance with international human rights standards. Myo Htike Tan Thein was Programme Director (2015) at the Bayda Institute, founded under the leadership of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, to conduct research and strategic studies on socio-economic issues, policy analysis and advice to aid supporting the pro-democracy movement and to engage in public education. Under the leadership of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, after the parliamentary winning elections in 2015, training courses were held for the more than 800 newly elected members of the National League for Democracy (NLD) in Naypyitaw, Pyi and Yangon in December 2015 and January 2016, in which Myo Htike Tan Thein as one of the trainers delivered the “Development Strategy for Burma”. Myo Htike Tan Thein was Campaign Director for the London-based Burma Democratic Concern (BDC) (2007-15) embarking on public campaigns and lobbying international governments to bring about democratic change in Burma while working in tandem with people inside Burma opposing the military dictatorship.

ဆရာဦးမျိုးထိုက်တန်သိန်း ဟာ မြန်မာပြည်တွင် စစ်မှန်သော "ဖက်ဒရာယ်စနစ်ပေါ်ထွန်းရေး၊ ဒီမိုကရေစီပြန်လည်ဖော်ဆောင်ရေး၊ တရားဥပဒေစိုးမိုးရေး နှင့် ဖွံ့ဖြိုးတိုးတက်ရေး" အတွက် "ပြည်တွင်း-ပြည်ပ" ပြည်သူများ နှင့် နိုင်ငံတကာအစိုးရများမှ "အလွန်သင့်တော်ကောင်းမွန်သောမူဝါဒချမှတ်လာနိုင်ရေး နှင့် လက်တွေ့ ထောက်ခံအားပေးမှုအရှိန်မြင့်လာရေး" အတွက်လိုအပ် "သောသုတေသနပြုခြင်းများ နှင့် မျိုးဆက်သစ်များအား လေ့ကျင့်သင် ကြားပေးခြင်း" များအပါအဝင် မြန်မာ့အရေးကိုအမြဲ "ရှင်သန်နေအောင်၊ ထောက်ခံနေအောင် နှင့် တက်ကြွနေအောင်" အစဉ်အမြဲ "လှုံ့ဆော်သူ၊ စည်းရုံးသူ နှင့် ခွန်အားပေးနေသောသူ" ဖြစ်ပါသည်။
ဆရာဦးမျိုးထိုက်တန်သိန်း ဟာ မြန်မာ့အရေး နှင့် ကမ္ဘာအရေးကို (၂၅) နှစ်ကျော် "ဝေဖန်၊ ထောက်ပြ၊ ဆွေးနွေး၊ အကြံပြု" နေသော နိုင်ငံရေးလေ့လာသုံးသပ်သူဖြစ်ပါသည်။
