اسٹیوارٹ کا انتقال 103 سال کی عمر میں کیلیفورنیا میں ہوا‘ یہ اور ان کی بیگم دونوں پچاس سال راولپنڈی میں پڑھاتے رہے‘

پروفیسر اسٹیوارٹ نے 1960میں اپنی الوداعی تقریر میں اس خطے کے بارے میں بڑی خوب صورت بات کی ‘ اس کا کہنا تھا ’’پاکستانی ایک ناکارہ اور مفلوج قوم ہیں‘‘ اس کا کہنا تھا ’’اس قوم کو پہلے اس کی مائیں نکما بناتی ہیں‘ یہ اپنے بچوں کا ہر کام خود کرتی ہیں‘ ان کے کپڑے دھوتی ہیں‘ استری کرتی ہیں‘ بچوں کو جوتے پالش کر کے دیتی ہیں‘ لنچ باکس تیار کرکے بچوں کے بستوں میں رکھتی ہیں اور واپسی پر باکسز کو نکال کر دھو کر خشک بھی خود کرتی ہیں۔

بچوں کی کتابیں اور بستے بھی مائیں صاف کرتی ہیں اور ان کے بستر بھی خود لگاتی ہیں چناں چہ بچے ناکارہ اور سست ہو جاتے ہیں اور یہ پانی کے گلاس کے لیے بھی اپنے چھوٹے بہن بھائیوں کو آواز لگادیتے ہیں یا ماں کو اونچی آواز میں کہتے ہیں امی پانی تو دے دو‘ پاکستانی بچے اس کلچر کے ساتھ جوان ہوتے ہیں‘ اس کے بعد ان کی بیویاں آ جاتی ہیں‘ یہ انھیں اپنا مجازی خدا سمجھتی ہیں اور غلاموں کی طرح ان کی خدمت کرتی ہیں‘ یہ بھی ان کا کھانا بناتی ہیں‘ کپڑے دھو کر استری کرتی ہیں۔

ان کے واش رومز صاف کرتی ہیں‘ ان کے بستر لگاتی ہیں اور پھر ان کی نفرت‘ حقارت اور غصہ برداشت کرتی ہیں چناں چہ میں اگر یہ کہوں پاکستانیوں کی مائیں بچوں کی نرسیں‘ بیویاں ملازمائیں اور چھوٹے بہن بھائی غلام ہوتے ہیں تو یہ غلط نہیں ہوگا لہٰذا سوال یہ ہے جو لوگ اس ماحول میں پل بڑھ کر جوان ہوتے ہیں کیا وہ ناکارہ اور مفلوج نہیں ہوں گے؟‘‘ پروفیسر اسٹیوارٹ کا کہنا تھا ’’اگر تم لوگوں نے واقعی قوم بننا ہے تو پھر تمہیں اپنے بچوں کو شروع سے اپنا کام خود کرنے اور دوسروں بالخصوص والدین کی مدد کی عادت ڈالنا ہو گی تاکہ یہ بچے جوانی تک پہنچ کر خود مختار بھی ہو سکیں اور ذمے دار بھی‘ تم خود فیصلہ کرو جو بچہ خود اٹھ کر پانی کا گلاس نہیں لے سکتا وہ کل قوم کی ذمے داری کیسے اٹھائے گا؟‘‘۔

Our combined thought behind the name is to guide a student like a parent, as parents take care of their child from his schooling till his settlement in spending a good life in the same way we have taken an initiative to guide the youth of our country about all the latest opportunities so that they can achieve their goals in life.

I was doing research and came to know that hundreds of foreign Scholarships remains unclaimed, The reason behind this?
