Byron Beede (GM of Battlefield) announced today Season 7 is the last official major content drop for Battlefield 2042. The game will still be supported with new in-game challenges, events, modes, etc. but this means the end of the development road for the embattled title. It launched November 19th, 2021. Resources are now shifting towards development of the next Battlefield game.
