Lead singer Marcello Spera states: “It was a rainy Saturday morning when I first received the tracks to record the demos of More to Ask from Andrew. I had listened to some previews before but did not pay much attention to them, my mind was somewhere else. Then I started recording the demo and writing the missing lyrics at the same time and it hit me. An incredible ballad, heartbreaking and yet full of passion. With a central theme about how ‘nothing lasts forever in this world’, it still hides a silver lining along the course of the whole song. It tells us that it is the caducity of things which makes them worth loving. I am very grateful that Andrew shared this masterpiece with us and honoured to be part of it.”

The album “Mayhem Mavericks” will be released on January 30, 2026. The CD booklet features introductory liner notes written by British radio presenter Steve Dack (Radio Caroline, ARFM.)

Street Symphonies Records & Burning Minds Music Group are excited to announce all the details of "Harder Faster Glitter," the first studio album by Italian glam metallers, Hot Rod.

The band states: “Harder Faster Glitter is a sonic kaleidoscope. Glam, the focal point of the record, splinters into multiple ‘chromatic’ shades: hard rock episodes alternate with heavier metal passages; reflective moments give way to unabashed, daring abandon. From the explosive energy of the early ’80s to the neon-lit glow of the late decade, and finally arriving at the streetwise abrasiveness of the early ’90s. It’s a record shaped by the sounds that shaped us growing up, where diverse souls coexist side by side, complementing one another.”

Hot Rod were formed in 2006. Their sound is an electrifying fusion of influences, spanning from the glittering 1980s - the Golden Age of the genre - to the raw edge of the 1990s. With two demos under their belt and a history of live performances across Italy and beyond, Hot Rod have become known for delivering explosive shows and an unapologetic attitude.

“Harder Faster Glitter” is set for release on March 13, 2026. The first single, “Wasted,” with an official lyric video, will drop on January 19, 2026.

Guitarist Andrew Trabelsi comments: “‘The song is about obsession. About trying in every possible way to distance yourself from something incredibly attractive yet deeply harmful. But you fail, and end up bound to it forever. The “eyes” mentioned in the lyrics are a metaphor for that presence staring straight into your soul, capturing you and leaving no way out.”

Street Symphonies Records & Burning Minds Music Group are thrilled to announce the signing of Hot Rod for the release of their debut album.

Hot Rod are an Italian glam metal band formed in 2006. Their sound is an electrifying fusion of influences, spanning from the glittering 1980s - the Golden Age of the genre - to the raw edge of the 1990s. With two demos under their belt and a history of live performances across Italy and beyond, Hot Rod have become known for delivering explosive shows and an unapologetic attitude. Now, the band are gearing up to release their long-awaited first full-length album, titled “Harder Faster Glitter.”
