Hi all! Jason here - I haven’t made a post about my trip to Los Angeles yet because I came back just a bit “under the weather”. John 5 had invited Joe Lalich and I out to visit his amazing KISS museum and to participate in a couple of the tours that’s currently going on for the rest of the month of May. Joe had been before but this was the first time I got to see John’s collection in person outside of the screen when we record our podcast. I was simply blown away. And speechless often. So many items that I have only seen photos of. So many one of a kind items. All vintage. All Aucoin. This collection deserves to be preserved for future generations. And I hope it is. If John does open it up again in the future, I encourage all of my collector friends to go. You won’t regret it. The guests for the 2 tours I participated in (including Jason Hook) were also blown away. I also finally got to meet Craig Dodson (The Curator!) and David Vela (John’s guitar tech). Thank you both for being so kind! I’d like to say thank you to John and Rita for being so wonderful to us while we visited. You guys are the best. I hope I get to visit again sometime in the near future. ❤️ Here are a few photos from our visit.

KISS My Kollectibles is a KISS collecting podcast that sets out to be your source for everything involved in collecting the merchandise of the iconic rock group KISS. Originally titled KISS My Wax, the podcast started out as an in-depth look at collecting KISS vinyl. As that topic ran its course (we ran out of albums!), the decision was made to transition over to all merchandise from the band over its nearly 50 year history. KISS My Kollectibles was born!

Each week, co-hosts Jason Herndon and Andrew Sgambati dive into various aspects of the KISS collecting hobby - many times, with special guests. Join us as we take on the most interesting, complex, and exciting sections of Kiss collecting.
