Chris Lorenz Fabian died doing what was right.

Not for fame or reward.

But because, when innocent lives were threatened, he chose courage over fear. He chose his teachers. He chose his classmates.

He chose LIFE.

There are people who would rather be silent. People who cower in fear. People who become enablers in a culture of impunity, choosing comfort over conscience while murderers threaten innocent lives.

But Chris Lorenz chose differently.

He stood where others might have stepped back. He defended the innocent when it mattered most. He proved that courage is not the absence of fear, but the decision to do what is right despite it.

That is why the Boy Scouts of the Philippines awarded him the Gold Medal for Gallantry and Heroism, a recognition reserved for extraordinary courage and sacrifice.

May his sacrifice awaken a nation.

May more Filipinos find the courage to stand against those who wish to maim, murder, and massacre innocent lives.

Chris Lorenz Fabian gave everything for what was right.

And a nation worthy of his sacrifice must never forget him.
