Known for their powerful blend of old-school thrash metal, razor-sharp riffing and technically refined songwriting, Mass Crysis have always stood apart thanks to their ability to combine crushing heaviness with sophisticated compositions. With "Metal Soul", the band strips their sound back to its essentials, allowing the strength of the melodies and the emotion behind the songs to take center stage.
Rather than being a one-off experiment, "Metal Soul" is the first preview of an upcoming live acoustic album, recorded during an intimate club performance. Capturing the raw atmosphere, spontaneity and genuine connection between the band and the audience, the release offers a unique perspective on Mass Crysis' music without relying on studio embellishments or elaborate orchestration. More details about the album will be announced soon.
This marks the first new release from Mass Crysis in collaboration with The Goatmancer Records since Imposing Truck, reaffirming a partnership built on artistic authenticity and a willingness to explore new creative paths while remaining true to the band's thrash metal roots.
Whether performed through overdriven amplifiers or acoustic guitars, Mass Crysis continue to prove that strong songwriting transcends volume.
