Women’s racing will once again take centre stage at South Africa’s premier Women’s Month celebration, the Totalsports Women's Race, taking place on three consecutive Sundays in August 2026. Kicking off in Durban on 2 August, followed by Cape Town on 9 August, before culminating in Johannesburg on 16 August, event organisers, Stillwater Sports, are excited to announce an increased, combined Prize Purse of R450 000.

The 11th annual Absa RUN YOUR CITY CAPE TOWN 10K will take place on Sunday, 10 May 2026 starting in Marine Drive, Milnerton at 09:00. Road closures and traffic restrictions will be implemented along the race route and surrounding areas to ensure the safety of all participants, spectators, and residents.

Event venues at Woodbridge Island (race start) and the Grand Parade (race finish) will be operational from 06h00, with controlled activations taking place along the route. While amplified sound will form part of the event experience, every effort will be made to keep noise levels within acceptable limits. Sound checks are scheduled for Saturday, 09 May between 14h00 and 18h00, and will be monitored by the Event Organiser and appointed Safety Officers.
