but never stayed there.
Just like my life,
every time I think
I’ve made it to the top,
I get knocked further
into the basement.
My bitterness & rage
Grows with each passing year.
Been down more than up.
Why can’t I have sustained happiness?
Why can’t my view from the top
Last more than five minutes?
Must success Joy & peace
Remain elusive to me.
