Getting through the last couple weeks can be a struggle!!!
We have been giving tips to try to make it a little easier!!
Schools are full of rules and they are all for a good reason!! Why not
make up a silly rule to enforce another rule and catch kids off guard!!
On Tuesday we talked about highlighting a goal of the day that your class needs to work on! We talked about lining up quietly! Well, how about adding a silly rule to that .... the class will silently lip sync to a song on your phone while they line up!
They have to do it silently and it needs to be songs they know lol!
Give it a try and hang in there!!!

We are really winding down now...BUT there are still days left on that calendar!!
Behavior can be a real challenge these last couple weeks!
Try setting a daily goal on something that is really challenging for your class!
Example: We will have good behavior lining up! Then repeat that goal all day and and focus on that behavior!!! Then try to add to it each day with another goal but keep repeating the one behavior from the day before. It's kind of like that game where you go through the alphabet and try to remember what everyone's word that started with each letter.. !!!! lol. Hang in there!!!!

PBIS tip for getting through these last few weeks!
We all need help making the last few weeks of school successful and positive experiences for everyone! A simple tip such as changing up your classroom layout may make all the difference!! Moving desks around or not sitting at desks for all or part of the day may make all the difference!!! Take class time out of the building or even a different part of the building may be a great alternative!!

"Our greatest glory is not in falling but in getting up every time we do!"

We all need help getting through the last weeks of School!
One Tip we have is to start each day with an inspirational quote!!!
Have older kids research one of their own! Have younger kids recite throughout the
day one you have chosen!!! Given them a positive thought for the day really does make a difference in making it through the day!!!

We need Help getting to the end of the year!!!!!
Classroom management often gets TOUGH this time of year, but inventing a new, silly rule can help kids refocus and keep kids on task. For example, you might establish a “rule” that everyone needs to lip sync to a favorite song while you walk down the hallway.
Silly new rules can help make old expectations have a new twist!!!!!
