Sneaky Creatures at The Brewing Lair this weekend ❤️🎼🍻🌞🌮

Every year, we try to get these guys to play Music in the Meadow; finally, we got them, and you're not going to want to miss them.

Sneaky Creatures is a mischievous alt-gypsy swing septet from Kings Beach, CA known for their unusual blend of gypsy-electro swing, rock and dixieland funk. Featuring Josh Roelle on guitar, Kerry Andras on stand-up bass, Steve Saturno on drums, Todd Holway on keyboards, Kevin Drake on saxophones, Lena Meyer on trombone, and Jesse Steele on trumpet/sax, this lineup of seasoned Tahoe musicians come together to create a sound that is at once unique and original, and also strangely familiar.

Mendocino DCAF with Lollar P-90s finished up. I spray these bursts as a "one pot" mixture. I start with yellow dye, lacquer thinner and just a little lacquer in the spray gun. Then as I work my way out from the center I add red to the mixture and eventually a dark brown. All the colors are mixed on top of each other insuring they blend harmoniously.

I look at the feathering of a burst the same as we do potentiometers. This one is logarithmic, not linear, it gets daker faster (rate of change) as you head toward the edge.
