"Are you shining your light for Jesus?"

You know, light doesn’t have to shout to be seen!! It just shows up… and darkness has to flee!!

Jesus said in Matthew 5:16, “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”

So, how’s your light today? Is it hidden under stress, fear, or just the busyness of life? Or is it shining—through kindness, patience, a smile, a word of hope?

Sometimes shining your light isn’t about doing something big… it’s about being available. Loving the person in front of you. Choosing grace over grumbling.

So here’s your challenge today: No matter what - Shine Anyway! Even when it feels small. Even when no one seems to notice. Because you never know who’s watching—and how God might use your light to guide someone home.

"MORE MERCY THAN MISTAKES"

When’s the last time God showed you mercy?

Maybe it was that moment you lost your temper… or said something you instantly regretted. Maybe it was when you felt unworthy, ashamed, or like you’d messed up one too many times. And yet—God met you with grace and forgiveness.

That’s mercy.

Mercy is when God holds back the punishment we deserve, and instead offers love, compassion, and forgiveness. It’s not because we earned it, but because He loves us that much.

In Titus 3:5, it says, “He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of HIS Mercy.”

And here’s the challenge that hits close to home: how do we show mercy to others?

* Maybe it’s forgiving someone who never apologized.
* Maybe it’s responding with kindness when someone’s short with you.
* Maybe it’s giving a little more grace… when your instinct is to walk away.

It’s not always easy. But when we think about how much mercy we’ve been shown—it’s hard to withhold it from someone else.

So today, let’s be people who reflect God's mercy. Not because others deserve it, but because we’ve been loved that way first.

What are you building your life on today? Is it worry, stress, anger… maybe even bitterness? Or are you building on something stronger—like hope, faith in God’s Word, trusting Christ, and loving your family?

Every day, we stack building blocks—thoughts, choices, attitudes. Some of them will lift us up and inspire those around us. Others… might slowly pull us down.

“Jesus said in Matthew 7 that the wise man built his house on the rock—and when the storm came, it didn’t fall."

So here’s the question: What foundation are you choosing today? Let’s build something eternal—starting now.

Whatever you build on will shape your day—and your future. So today, build on the Rock.

So stand tall. You are victorious in Him!

As Christians, it's easy to forget — or even deny — that there’s a real spiritual storm happening all around us. But Scripture reminds us that our strength doesn’t come from ourselves. It comes from a powerful God who fights for us.

So when the storm rages, and it will, cling to your Savior. Trust Him completely — with what you can see and especially with what you can’t.

You're not in this alone, and you never were. 💪✝️

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
