The reason why the registration was postponed is due to the daily limit. They have added that the foreign nationals who have not registered are to be given the chance. Bisrat Radio has heard the announcement that this chance has been given for the last time by Ambassador Melese.
Over 70 thousand foreign citizens from 36 countries have been registered in the registration process thus far.The subscribers are from Canada, America, Congo, Nigeria, Yemen, Syria, Sudan, South Sudan, China, Eritrea, Burundi, Ghana, Bangladesh, India, Liberia, Cameroon and Italy.
Bisrat Radio has heard that Ambassador Melese has said that the registration is to reduce legal procedures and to legalize the visas of foreign countries that have expired visas, not to chase them away. Before legal action is taken, it is necessary to encourage and know who is in Ethiopia.
