A proud moment today for our team. This picture doesn’t say much at face value but it’s a big achievement to us. This picture is the result of 5 years of learning, testing, innovation and playing around. What started off 5 years ago with a room full of gear and fumbling around figuring things out culminated into this minimal streamlined control room setup we had for an international medical conference that couldn’t have run any smoother. If our work goes unnoticed, we’ve done a great job and today proved just that. A simple setup with a lot of prep work that went into it. We executed the following for our client:
- Pre-recorded Zoom sessions with doctors around the world used in the content of the event
- Event page design and hosting
- Event mailers to the international database we manage for this client
- RSVP management for the event
- Slido polls setup & management
- Zoom facilitation and hosting of the event
- Post event CPD certification quiz for the healthcare practitioners attending the event
- Mini control room setup in Johannesburg where we mixed multiple inputs into the Zoom Webinar session
- Redundant hosting of the Zoom event in the case of anything going down on the main system
- Redundant power in the event of the main power going down
- Redundant internet connection in the event of the main line going down
This was all done with just 2 people running the live event and a designer behind the scenes working furiously to make it all look amazing.
As you can see, the meaning behind this simple picture is far greater than the picture itself.
