We're very excited to announce that, for the first time in many years, Wasteland Radio will temporarily be available outside of Wasteland Weekend!

If you're visiting Uncle Zeke's Nuclear Winter in a couple weeks, bring a Pip-Boy or radio, because we'll be attempting a broadcast on 87.9 FM, keeping you entertained with all the usual nonsense we do.

We'll also have a little hangout area right in front of our studio, complete with speakers so that you can both listen live and yell suggestions at us! No, we don't have Free Bird, or Africa.

Wasteland City has such sights to show you, some during the day, some during the night. But only a few things which offer much both day AND night. One of those things is Wasteland Radio. I guess... I guess radio isn't exactly a sight, and we can't... show it, per se, but it's... something. Our tower keeps hurling radio waves into the very fabric of time and space 24 hours a day, every day, no matter how much our labor union screams about it.

But you can't "enjoy" that experience without a radio! Start your day with a brand new Wake Up Wasteland music line-up starting at 8am, and stay with us from 9 to 11am for The Morning Fallout, which has all the music, talk, gossip, news, and vital weather reports you can shake what's left of a knife at!
Then, stick around for Armageddon Time, the best mess of rock, punk, and metal we could find on scavenged tapes and ruined vinyl. It runs until 3am, so you can rock out all day and some of the night!

If you're in the market for up-to-date information, tune in at 11am for The Morning News, or 6pm for The Evening News, where we get you all the latest weather reports, schedule information, and interviews you need to make the most out of your day. We also do smaller news roundups and schedule updates at 12pm, 2pm, 4pm, and 8pm!

From 3am to 8am, turn your radio off. Seriously, you don't want to hear what we play on the Nuclear Winter show. Listening to Nuclear Winter constitutes agreement to several terms and conditions, which are mysterious, arcane, and an even more secret third thing.

Another year in the dirt is behind us, which means the time for spreadsheets is now!

Now, we test transmitters and stuff before the event, and we play music for ourselves during teardown, so in order to be the most fair with what got played at the event, the following statistics start at the midnight line-up before the event, and end at noon on Sunday.

First of all, we played 551 unique pieces of music a total of 1,513 times.

First track played: 9electric - Under Attack

Last track played: AC/DC - Rock`n`Roll Ain`t Noise Pollution

Most played tracks, tied at 8 plays:
INXS - What You Need
Avatar - Hail The Apocalypse

Most played Fallout track, 5 plays: Dion - The Wanderer

Honestly it's a bit boring that the most played tracks ended up being ones that have been on Wasteland Radio for years. So here's some stats about new music we brought this year!

The Morning Fallout added 24 new tracks, bringing the total music during those blocks up to 7 hours, 9 minutes, and 23 seconds spread over 164 tracks.

Armageddon Time added 40 new tracks, bringing that total up to 17 hours, 56 minutes, and 8 seconds over 306 total tracks.

Nuclear Winter got 12 new tracks, bringing the total up to 96 tracks covering 7 hours and 30 minutes.

A huge thank you to the WCC Broadcast Service, a Division of the Wasteland Communication Corporation, for hosting our facility and providing the power, water, food, and everything else we need to do what we do.

And especially thank you to everybody who sent in requests, announcements, notes, gifts, or just tuned in to listen this year. Without you, there would be no reason to do what we do.

The world did its level best to keep us off the air, but you can't stop the signal!

We had so many listeners tell us how they felt about the radio station. Some came in person, some sent letters, but the love was overwhelming either way. It was an incredible privilege to be able to put on our little shows for all of you. On behalf of the whole crew, thank you.

Armageddon Time screams at your face with all the rock, punk, and metal we could get our hands on. Nuclear Winter is... well it's your punishment for leaving your radio on after 3AM.
