Please don’t misinterpret; read thoroughly.

I saw someone on Facebook shared a post about a “le***an couple” or what they call “girls’ love.” The person who shared it was a guy, or maybe still a kid around 15 to 16, based on how he acted, because he added this caption: “Nagpatuli pa ko, nitulo pang luha nako, tas mag-inunayay ra diay mo.” (In English: “I went through circumcision, even cried over it, only for you girls to end up with each other.”) Honestly, I wasn’t alarmed by the second part, but the first and last parts really got to me. Like, first of all, women aren’t objects to be used or controlled. Love isn’t just about s*x; it’s about care, support, and respect. The last part, are we seriously still this close-minded in 2025? Straight, gay, le***an it doesn’t matter. Who he loves, who she loves, or who they love is none of our business. This doesn’t just go to that guy who posted it but to everyone who still thinks this way. Please, let’s stop being bastos to others. And parents, please teach your kids how to utilise social media responsibly or maybe don’t let them use social media yet. Sayang ang pinag-aralan if hindi ginagamit sa tama.
