Today was a great day, even hot as well! Today, we see NS 955 ( Altoona, PA - New Orleans, LA ) making a southbound run through the upstate of South Carolina with some interesting power in charge of the Office Car Special in the 250th America scheme. NS #8118 GE ES44AC ( The Stars & Stripes ) Unit leading and NS #1776 EMD SD70ACe ( Liberty Bell ) Unit trailing 2nd heading for New Orleans, LA on this hot clear sunny day. In the heat of the night!

As the warm night goes by, NS 240 ( Atlanta, GA - Charlotte, NC ) makes a northbound run through Norris, SC with a speed restriction between CP Johnson MP 508.0 and CP Traber MP 504.1 with CP #8802 GE ES44AC leading and NS # 4791 GE AC44C6M trailing 2nd heading for Charlotte, NC on this warm clear Tuesday night ( 06/30/2026 ).

Getting a sun tan on the railroad! On this hot Saturday afternoon, NS 243 ( Charleston, SC - Atlanta, GA ) is seen tied down in downtown Liberty, SC with BNSF #8772 EMD SD70ACe leading and BNSF #5741 GE ES44AC ( Heritage 2 scheme ) trailing 2nd waiting for the next crew to go on duty for it's trip Atlanta, GA. This is great news for us!!!! It is not finalized yet, but Greenville-Pickens Speedway is gonna make a come back for the racing community in the upstate!!!!! This is not far from we are at, and we would love to attend another racing at this Historic racetrack again!!!!! Please read the post!

Canadians in the Carolinas!

While storms move into the area, NS M54 ( extra NS 154 ) makes a northbound run in Liberty, SC under cloudy skies with CN #8352 EMD SD75IACC leading the way along NS #1094 EMD SD70ACe trailing 2nd, and NS #4837 GE AC44C6M running as a rear DPU heading for Linwood, NC on this warm cloudy Tuesday afternoon ( 05/26/2026 ).

We are devastated to hear the sad news about Bob passing away. Bob got his ticket for the Heavenly express to be with good Lord. Thank you Bob for all the memories, we will miss you!
