✨ Exciting News from TORTA! ✨

We are absolutely delighted to share that TORTA has been selected as a Finalist in the Dumfries & Galloway Chamber of Commerce Awards 2026! 🏆

Even more exciting, we’ve made it into the Final 3 for the Food & Drink Champion D&G Award. 🎉

To be recognised alongside other fantastic local businesses is an incredible honour, and we’re so proud that our little cake shop has been chosen as one of the top three finalists.

This achievement wouldn’t be possible without our amazing customers, family, friends, and community who continue to choose TORTA day by day. Thank you for every visit, every order, every recommendation, like, share, and kind word you’ve given us along the way.

The awards ceremony takes place this Friday, and while we’re already thrilled to have reached the final three, we’ll be keeping everything crossed for the big night! 🤞✨

A year ago today, I walked into this shop for the very first time. The moment I saw its potential, I knew it was the one and said yes straight away.

After years of searching for the right place, that day marked the beginning of my biggest dream becoming a reality. I'll never forget the excitement, the nerves, and the feeling that something special was about to begin.

Looking back, saying yes to this shop was one of the best decisions I've ever made.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me throughout this journey. Your kindness, encouragement, and loyalty mean more than you'll ever know. Here's to the memories we've made and to many more still to come. 🧋🤍🥐🤍🧁

TORTA is 6 months old today! 🤍✨

We honestly cannot believe how quickly the time has flown by… what started as a little dream has turned into a space full of bakes made with love, good coffee, and the loveliest people walking through our doors every day.

We’re so, so grateful for all the support you’ve shown us — every visit, every kind word, every familiar face. It truly means everything to us.
