When we are born into the family of God, we are given a living hope.
There are many people today who are hopeless.
They see awful things happening in the world around them, have experienced broken promises, and false expectations and they are filled with dread and despair.
Nevertheless some have a living hope, that is, a hope that is sure and founded in the reality of the unfailing promises of God.
A hope that does not endure is not a real hope.
We as Born Again believers are hopeful, we persevere and we overcome by the Blood of the Lamb of God and by the Word of our testimonies.
People cannot survive long without hope.
It is genuine Hope God given that will keep us going through painful experiences and fear of what the future may hold.
In a fallen world where people face poverty, disease, hunger, injustice, disaster, war, and terrorism, we need a certain living hope.
The Bible tells us in Ephesians 2:12 that those who don’t have Jesus Christ do not have hope.
Nevertheless, Believers are blessed with real and substantial hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
By the power of God’s Word and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, this living hope will quicken our hearts, mind and soul.
Although we may from time to time feel like giving up, don’t do it.
It is God’s real grace and power that will keep us during these hard times.
One day the troubles will end, the tears will dry up.God will make all things beautiful in His time.
And with the arrival of every promise of God, we will not remember how bad it was.
Now Our challenge is to take hold of this sure hope and let it pe*****te and correct everything that it touches in our lives and in the lives of those around us.
Remember Christ's resurrection is the gateway for everything else that God has promised.
Our God has proven Himself in the past and Has made a deposit guaranteeing our future, so our hope in Christ is a living, breathing, present reality.
This living hope encompasses everything that God has promised but has not yet come to pass.
Have you, have I experienced this Living Hope ?
