Now based in downtown Cary, this self-taught artist is creating textured, joy-filled works inspired by nature, motherhood, and music—often with her 4-year-old daughter by her side. Her newest collection is all heart, glitter, and generational healing.

Twelve-year-old Krishika Tirupathi is headed to NYC to perform at the legendary Carnegie Hall as part of the prestigious Middle School Honors Performance Series. Selected from over 10,000 applicants worldwide, this Mills Park Middle rising 7th grader is one of just 80 vocalists chosen to train and perform alongside the world’s top young talent.

We caught up with Krishika and her voice coach about the journey, the nerves, and what this big moment means to her.
