Visiting the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum in Hamilton with my daughter was an unforgettable journey into aviation history. Founded in 1972, this museum preserves more than 40 iconic aircraft that once soared through Canada’s skies ,including the legendary Avro Lancaster, one of only two in the world still flying. As we walked through the hangar and toured the planes outside, it felt like stepping back in time, surrounded by stories of courage, innovation, and sacrifice. Beyond the steel and wings, the museum carries the spirit of those who built, flew, and maintained these warplanes, a beautiful reminder of our shared history and the importance of passing it on to the next generation.
