Parampara – a heartfelt celebration of tradition and music, presented by Sur- Rang Music Academy, co-founded by Ramneek Singh.
This concert brought to life a beautiful blend of classical music, ghazal, and qawwali, performed by Ramneek and her talented son Malhar Singh.
What makes this performance truly special is not just the music, but the deep cultural connection it represents.
Being raised in the Western world, far from your own language, traditions, and heritage — it takes immense dedication and effort to stay rooted. And that effort comes not only from the teacher but also from the student. For a young person like Malhar, balancing academics and life while choosing to absorb, practice, and perform such soulful music is no small feat.
As a mother-son duo, continuing the legacy of their Gurus and bringing these traditions to life on stage is both inspiring and powerful. Malhar’s performance was truly amazing, and I hope everyone who watches takes a moment to appreciate and encourage this young artist.

I went to Cappadocia, Turkey in April expecting spring sunshine—but nature had a surprise in store! On the morning of our hot air balloon ride, the temperature dropped to -9°C and we woke up to snowfall across the stunning rocky landscape.

Despite the cold, the experience was absolutely magical—floating above the fairy chimneys and snow-covered valleys felt like something out of a dream. Later in the afternoon, the skies cleared and the weather turned beautiful, giving us the best of both winter and spring in one day.
