The Asotin Panthers lost to the Tri-Cities Prep Jaguars 6-5 in the semifinals of the Washington State 2B baseball tournament. They will now play Jenkins high school of Chewelah Saturday at 1pm for 3rd place. Good luck and GO PANTHERS!!

The Asotin Panthers advanced to the Washington State 2B baseball semifinals with a pair of wins at Clarkston high school Saturday afternoon! The #4-seeded Panthers defeated the #13-seed Okanogan 10-0 in the Opening Round, and then defeated the #5-seed Adna 5-1 in the quarterfinals. Asotin (21-5) will take on the #1-seed Tri-Cities Prep at 7pm Friday at Carlon Park in Selah. Good luck and GO PANTHERS!!!

A tight, back and forth game turned into a mercy-rule ending as East Valley defeated Clarkston in a District semifinal softball game Tuesday afternoon in Spokane. The Knights scored seven runs in the fifth inning to win 16-6, ending the Bantams' season. Clarkston finishes with a record of 14-8. Congratulations on a great season Bantams!!!

The #3-seed Clarkston Bantams scored 13 runs in the first inning and went on to trounce the #6-seed Rogers Pirates 19-2 in a District 6 loser-out softball game at the Lincoln Middle School playfields Monday afternoon! The game ended after four and a half innings due to the mercy rule. The Bantams (14-7) will travel to Spokane tomorrow to take on the #2-seed East Valley Knights in another loser-out playoff game. First pitch is scheduled for 4pm. Good luck and GO BANTAMS!!!

The #3-seed Clarkston Bantams will host the #6-seed Rogers Pirates in the first round of the District 6 GSL softball tournament. This loser-out game will begin at 4pm on Monday, May 12 at the Lincoln Middle School playfields. Tickets are $10 for adults, and seniors and students are $5. Passes will not be accepted. The Clarkston Bantams swept the West Valley Eagles in a GSL doubleheader Friday afternoon at the Lincoln Middle School playfields to end the regular season! Both games ended after four and a half innings because of the mercy rule. Freshman pitcher Abby Miller threw a shutout in game 1, giving up only three hits and four walks. Junior shortstop Aneysa Judy had four hits, including a double and four runs scored, and junior third baseman Kizzie Line blasted a two-run home run in the first inning as the Bantams would go on to win 13-0. In game 2, freshman pitcher Olivia Tannahill kept the Eagle bats quiet again, giving up only seven hits and three walks. Judy led the Bantam offense again with four hits, including a double and four runs scored, as the Bantams cruised to a 15-4 victory. The Bantams honored seniors Emma Smith, Jaideyn Goard, Joey Miller, and Ryann Combs. The Bantams also honored Kirsten Phillips, who would have been a senior on the team but tragically passed away in a car accident nearly one year ago. The Bantams will host either West Valley or Rogers on Monday at 4pm in a loser-out game to begin the District playoffs. Good luck and GO BANTAMS!!!

The Clarkston Bantams swept the West Valley Eagles in a GSL softball doubleheader Friday afternoon at the Lincoln Middle School playfields to end the regular season! The Clarkston Bantams lost their final regular season road game to the first-place Deer Park Stags in GSL softball action Tuesday afternoon. The final score was 6-0. The Bantams (10-6 GSL, 11-7 overall) are currently in fourth place, one game behind the Pullman Greyhounds, who will play at second-place East Valley in a doubleheader to end the regular season on Saturday. The Bantams will host fifth-place West Valley to end the regular season in a doubleheader this Friday beginning at 3pm. The Bantams will recognize their seniors between game one and game two. A concession stand will also be open. Good luck and GO BANTAMS!!!

The Clarkston Bantams defeated the Rogers Pirates 9-2 in GSL baseball action Wednesday afternoon on Senior Day! The Bantams honored six seniors before the game: Jace Cometto, Jacen Farrally, Hayden Line, Isaiah Woods, Otis Phillips, and Gillis Simpson. The Bantams, now 9-7 and currently in fourth place in the league standings, will travel to Deer Park on Tuesday to take on the Stags in a single game beginning at 4:30pm. Good luck and GO BANTAMS!!!

The Clarkston Bantam softball team made quick work of the Rogers Pirates, winning their GSL matchup 11-1 Tuesday afternoon at the Lincoln Middle School playfields. The game ended after 4 1/2 innings because of the mercy rule. Freshman pitcher Olivia Tannahill, called up from the junior varsity to make her second varsity start, gave up only three hits and three walks while striking out two batters. The Bantams (10-5 GSL, 11-6 overall) will travel to Deer Park next Tuesday to take on the first- place Stags in a single game beginning at 4pm. Good luck and GO BANTAMS!!!
