Katy Tigers Wrestling kicks off the 2025-26 season in style! 🐯🔥

First dual of the year on the road at The Woodlands and both the Katy girls and boys came home with big wins:

👉 Girls 35–16
👉 Boys 52–23

Lots of ranked wrestlers throwing down, lightning-fast pins, tech falls, and a couple of “welcome to varsity” moments for freshmen. Coach Vin Lowe vs. his former assistant Bill Durning added some extra spice too!

Highlights:
• #1 ranked Natalie Roberson (105) pins in 1:35
• #1 ranked Emily Beltran (110) runs a 19-2 tech
• #2 ranked Josue Pizana (126) pins in exactly one minute
• Mason Negro ( #18 at 190) drops a 21-6 tech on #9 ranked Holden Hart
• Plenty of other Tigers and Highlanders showing they belong on the big stage
