Chess news this week :

In the 12th Norway Chess tournament, Magnus Carlsen, the reigning World Champion, won his sixth Norway Chess title. This victory came after a thrilling armageddon game against GM Fabiano Caruana. Meanwhile, GM Hikaru Nakamura made a triumphant return to the 2800 club, while Women's World Champion Ju Wenjun cruised to victory in her tournament.

At the Madrid Chess Festival, Levy Rozman, also known as Gotham Chess, was the sole leader in the main event. He defeated Cuban GM Lelys Martínez in a thrilling match.

The Candidates Tournament is just around the corner, with eight contenders fighting for the right to challenge reigning World Champion Ding Liren. Carlsen shared his insights on the Candidates, ranking each player based on their likelihood of winning.
