It's been some time since I last posted anything here, but I assure you, work continues on more Jack Grimm comics!
Here are a few panels from two stories that are currently on the drawing board.

Update! As you may have noticed if you follow this page, things have been super slow around here. Part of that is because I was planning on putting out 3 issues at once and running a big ol' Kickstarter campaign. Truth be told, I don't have the energy for that in me.
So I'm backing things up and will be publishing each issue one at a time. With that said, my wonderful wife, Crystal has taken on proof reading my work for me. Often looking at the same page too long you don't notice mistakes until after it goes to the printer.
We just finished final edits on issue 12, and will be ready to publish soon! I'll keep you posted.

For the first time ever, I did a complete paste up on a Jack Grimm cover with the logo, issue number, and cover blurbs.
I've always wanted to do this, but it always ended up being easier to add all that stuff digitally after scanning the original art. But this looks so much better and finished as a final art piece.

I just finished up the cover to Jack Grimm issue 14. I'm really happy with this one. I tried to capture some 60's romance and Archie comics vibes.

This is my first attempt at inking over blue pencils. I really prefer to ink over graphite, but I hate all that erasing afterwards.

I finally got around to finishing this one. It was going to be one of several commission pieces, but I liked it too much to part with it.

11 x 17 pencil and ink (brush pen) on Strathmore.
