اگر آپ ہانیہ عامر، ہمایوں سعید، خلیل الرحمٰن قمر یا انجینئر مرزا کو نہیں جانتے، تو کوئی خاص فرق نہیں پڑتا۔ لیکن اگر آپ 15 سے 25 سال کے پاکستانی نوجوان ہیں اور صالح آصف کا نام نہیں سنا، تو شاید آپ ایک اہم کردار سے محروم ہیں — وہ کردار جو پاکستان کا ٹیکنالوجی میں مستقبل تراش رہا ہے۔
یہ وہی صالح آصف ہے جو چند برس پہلے کراچی کی گلیوں میں موٹر سائیکل چلاتا تھا، اور آج وہ سلیکون ویلی میں دنیا کے جدید ترین AI پلیٹ فارمز میں سے ایک کے پیچھے کھڑا ہے۔ وہ "کرسر اے آئی" (Cursor AI) کا شریک بانی ہے، اور بلوم برگ کی رپورٹ کے مطابق اس کی کمپنی کی قدر 10 ارب امریکی ڈالر — یعنی تقریباً 3,500 ارب پاکستانی روپے — تک پہنچ چکی ہے۔
صالح کا سفر کراچی سے شروع ہوا، جہاں وہ پاکستان کی نمائندگی کرتے ہوئے انٹرنیشنل میتھمیٹکس اولمپیاڈ میں شریک ہوا۔ یہ صرف ایک مقابلہ نہیں تھا، بلکہ ایک ایسا تجربہ تھا جس نے اس کی سوچ، تجزیہ اور مسئلہ حل کرنے کی صلاحیتوں کو نکھارا۔ پھر MIT جیسی دنیا کی بہترین یونیورسٹی سے کمپیوٹر سائنس میں تعلیم حاصل کی، اور یہیں سے اس کی نظریں کچھ بڑے خوابوں پر جا ٹھہریں۔
"کرسر" صرف ایک کوڈ ایڈیٹر نہیں، بلکہ یہ ایک ذہین ساتھی ہے جو ڈیولپرز کے ساتھ مل کر کام کرتا ہے، ان کی کوڈنگ کی عادات سیکھتا ہے، پچھلے فیصلے یاد رکھتا ہے، اور ان سے مکالمہ کر کے بہتر نتائج دیتا ہے۔ یعنی اب ڈیولپر تنہا کوڈ نہیں لکھتا، بلکہ ایک چالاک AI ٹیم کے ساتھ مل کر پروڈکٹیویٹی کی نئی بلندیوں کو چھوتا ہے۔
آج کی دنیا میں جہاں ہر دوسرا اسٹارٹ اپ خود کو "انقلابی" قرار دیتا ہے، صالح آصف کا طریقہ کار سادگی، فہم اور مضبوط وژن پر مبنی ہے۔ وہ شور شرابے سے دور، سوشل میڈیا کی چمک دمک سے بچ کر، خاموشی سے ایک ایسا پلیٹ فارم تیار کر رہا ہے جو واقعی فرق ڈال رہا ہے۔ اسی لیے اوپن اے آئی اور اسٹرائپ جیسی بڑی کمپنیاں Cursor کو اپنائے ہوئے ہیں — کیونکہ یہ نتیجہ دیتا ہے، دعوے نہیں۔
صالح آصف کے کام کا مطلب ہے کہ ہم بطور قوم آگے بڑھ سکتے ہیں، اگر ہم صلاحیتوں کو پہچانیں اور ان کی پرورش کریں۔ سلیکون ویلی میں صالح کی موجودگی صرف اس کی نہیں، بلکہ پاکستان کے لاکھوں نوجوانوں کی امیدوں کی نمائندگی ہے۔
یہ وقت ہے کہ ہم ایسے نوجوانوں کی کہانی سنائیں، جو تبدیلی لا رہے ہیں — خاموشی سے، محنت سے، اور وژن کے ساتھ۔
