The Organic Meat Company Limited (TOMCL) has successfully entered Tajikistan’s halal meat market, securing export orders for frozen boneless beef worth $3.24 million.

Production has already commenced in accordance with Tajikistan’s import requirements, and shipments are expected to be completed within the current financial year.

In an official statement to the Pakistan Stock Exchange, TOMCL confirmed the commencement of production and shipments, designed to meet Tajikistan’s specific import regulations and standards.

This milestone marks the company’s strategic expansion into a new and largely untapped halal meat market, further solidifying its position as a leading exporter of Pakistani frozen beef.

Fauji Fertilizer Company Limited (FFC) posted a record-breaking unconsolidated profit of Rs. 25.2 billion (EPS: Rs. 17.7) in Q2 2025, marking a 62% YoY and 90% QoQ surge.

Pakistan is set to launch its first solar-powered, ticketless, trackless metro system as Lahore receives a demo vehicle of the Super Autonomous Rail Rapid Transit (SRT).

Dubbed a "subway on wheels," the SRT operates without tracks, using Virtual Track Technology—powered by GPS, sensors, and digital mapping.

Fully electric and battery-powered, this next-gen transit system marks a major move toward modern, eco-friendly urban mobility.

Pakistan recorded a $2.1 billion current account surplus in FY2024–25, the first in 14 years, driven by record remittances, strong textile and IT export growth, and improved fiscal management.

In June 2025, the surplus reached $328 million, reversing prior deficits. Remittances surged 27% to $38.3 billion, textile exports rose 7.4%, and IT exports grew 18% to $3.8 billion.
