Meet teaching artist, Sara Ives, a seasoned dancer, performer, and educator based in Las Vegas! Hailing from Puerto Rico, Sara brings nearly two decades of experience in classical and early childhood dance education. Bilingual in English and Spanish, she has performed with renowned companies like Brandywine Ballet, Ohio Dance Theatre, and Orlando Ballet, dancing in classics like Concerto Barocco, Who Cares?, Dracula, Paquita, and The Nutcracker.

As the owner and artistic director of Downtown Dance Conservatory, Sara inspires students with a blend of technical precision, artistry, and confidence. Certified in the Vaganova technique, she has taught dancers from ages 3 to 18 across schools, studios, and theaters throughout Nevada.
