It kinda feels like this is the last real episode of Summer Vacation 2025, so, starting at 7pm on the west coast, we're winding down in style! Edward joins me in the studio as cohost and we have a lot of fun playing some great music. He picked Canned Heat and Creedence Clearwater Revival as two of his must-haves to go along with a bunch of selections I made. We have Captain Beefheart, Love, Country Joe & the Fish, Blodwyn Pig, and a ton more!

I introduce the show and then it's one continuous flowing experience of performances and stage announcements. Well, Fellow Travelers, this is the big one; The 16th Anniversary Episode of The Psychedelicatessen! 16 years of psychedelic Saturday nights and I'm still finding material I've never played and including it in the mix. Old favourites from Captain Beefheart and Frank Zappa & the Mothers of Invention mingle with long-sought and newly acquired sides from The West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band and The Seeds. We're going to check out stuff from Ultimate Spinach, Les Baxter, Sandy Nelson, and David Axelrod. A live favourite from Jefferson Airplane makes it into the show, too.
