بنیامین نتانیاهو، نخست‌وزیر اسرائیل، روز دوشنبه ۹ مهر در یک پیام ویدیویی «مستقیم و بی‌واسطه» خطاب به «مردم ایران» گفت که اسرائیل در کنار آنها ایستاده است و ایران «بسیار زودتر از آن چه همه تصورش را می‌کنند آزاد خواهد شد.»

شرکت مایکروسافت اعلام کرد که یک گروه هکری مرتبط با جمهوری اسلامی، تلاش کرده است تا به حساب‌های ایمیل کارکنان ستاد انتخاباتی ریاست‌جمهوری آمریکا نفوذ کند.
بر اساس یافته‌های مرکز تحلیل تهدیدات مایکروسافت، هکرهای مرتبط با سپاه پاسداران در ماه ژوئن تلاش کرده‌اند تا به حساب یک مقام عالی‌رتبه در کارزار انتخابات ریاست جمهوری ایالات متحده نفوذ کنند.
این‌گروه همچنین تلاش ناموفقی برای ورود به حساب کاربری یکی از نامزدهای سابق ریاست جمهوری داشته است.
بر اساس این‌گزارش این اقدام بخشی از «تلاش‌های فزاینده گروه‌های مرتبط با جمهوری اسلامی برای تأثیرگذاری بر انتخابات ریاست‌جمهوری آمریکا» عنوان شده است.
