🎙We’re thrilled to launch the third annual Emerging Artists Program at Barnhouse Sound!

🎙After working with 28 incredible artists last year, we’re expanding the program to offer

🎙250 hours of free studio + engineer time to independent artists with vision, talent, and a story to tell.

🎙Our goal is simple: make high-end studio production more accessible to artists who are ready to invest in their music but can’t always access the space, tools, or support they need.

🎙To help make multi-day sessions even more affordable, selected applicants will also receive 50% off our on-site accommodations*.

🎙New Episode of Tone Tips from Barnhouse Sound!

🎙In this episode, Justin breaks down a simple 4-mic drum recording setup that delivers tight, gritty tone — perfect for garage rock, R&B, and lo-fi indie styles.

🎙Using classic gear like Coles 4038 ribbon mics, an Electro-Voice 664, and an AKG D112, Justin shows how to get in-phase drum tones that cut through a mix without overcomplicating your setup.

🎙You’ll also hear how this drum sound fits into a raw, live-feeling track featuring the Universal Audio Dream ‘65 pedal and Barnhouse’s in-house Jazz Bass.
