Members,
Here is an update for you. Please read this carefully!
Tristar NorthCrest will remain in-network for all Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) products through the end of the calendar year (Not school year).
This change averts the potential network disruption that BCBS previously communicated to members regarding NorthCrest falling out of network on October 1, 2022.
On December 31, 2022, as previously anticipated, NorthCrest will no longer remain in-network for BCBS Network S products.
NorthCrest will remain in-network for all other products including Network P, BlueCare, and Blue Cross Medicare Advantage Plans.
Network S patients should still seek care at their nearest ER in case of emergency, regardless of in-network or out-of-network status.
Members,
The announcement was made at the board meeting this afternoon that TriStar will not accept BCBS Insurance as of October 1. October is the month to change your insurance if needed!
President Coats visited Robertson County Schools today!
Wishing a very happy birthday to our President, Mrs. Amy Amos! 💜
Thank you so much for all you do for our association and our students.
