Dormaahene Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Dr. Agyemang Badu II, President of the Bono Regional House of Chiefs, has respectfully but firmly expressed his deep concern and disappointment with the Inspector General of Police (IGP) and the President of the Republic of Ghana regarding the decision to allow a non-national flag to precede the President instead of the national flag. He further called on the IGP to immediately discontinue the practice of selectively inviting a particular paramount chief to inspect police parades, stressing that Ghana is a constitutional republic and not a monarchical state, and that state institutions must remain neutral and inclusive.
