It is with great sadness that we notify our user community of the passing of Lucinda Fleckenstein, after a brief but devastating illness.

Lucinda served our user groups in several capacities: President, Board of Directors, and Advisory Board member throughout her days representing Booth Newspapers. She was known to have a calming personality within our group and helped navigate not only our user community mergers but also the PBS/DTI/Newscycle transitions. She continuously kept our needs at the forefront.

For those that knew Lucinda, and maybe even worked with her within InPUT and the subsequent groups, you may have experienced the “quiet storm”; those times when she, not-so-quietly, would dig in. She was not afraid to challenge top management from the vendor company and demand accountability from the same.

Due to her history within our group, Lucinda was also the go-to person for parliamentary procedure, interpretation, and by-law intent. She was also an active contributor of these Google Groups. She will be missed.

Lucinda is survived by her wife Karen and their family members.
