Young Lohana Society North London A group for Young Lohanas in London, part of the Lohana Community of North London (LCNL)

The Young Lohana Society North London (‘YLS’) is a youth organisation specially launched to capture and cater for the younger generation within the Lohana community. The YLS team aim to bring the Lohana youth together as well as preserving and strengthening our sense of belongingness within the community by promoting and encouraging participation youth to actively integrate and participate in community events.

💜 *This year’s YLS Kids Garba has a bigger purpose* 💛

💃✨ Whilst we bring joy to our children at Kids Garba, we are mindful that many children grow up without life’s basics. Through our partnership with *Sebby’s Corner*, we want to spread that joy further.

💝 Sebby’s Corner is a Barnet-based charity, supporting vulnerable children and families in poverty - they provide nappies, formula, school uniforms, and even birthday & Christmas gifts to restore dignity and hope.

🙏 This year, YLS will be *raising funds for Sebby’s Corner during Kids Garba*, and a portion of ticket proceeds will also go directly to them.

This Navratri, as we celebrate together in joy, YLS is proud to continue our annual Donations Drive as part of supporting our ongoing Sewa Day initiative.

This initiative directly reflects one of the four core pillars of YLS:

· Culture – celebrating and preserving our Lohana identity

· Community – creating spaces where people connect and belong

· Sewa – giving back through meaningful acts of service that make a real difference

· Growth – spotlighting talent and inspiring one another to grow

💃✨ As you’re dusting off your Garba outfits and preparing for the festive nights of Navratri, you may come across warm clothes or bedding you no longer use. This is the perfect time to pass them on to those in need. The winter months are approaching - the coldest and hardest time for many who are homeless.

Together, we can bring warmth and dignity to those less fortunate.

Sewa Day is rooted in selfless service, guided by three principles:

· Relieve hardship

· Bring joy to others

· Help the environment

✨ Your donations of clean, good-condition warm clothing and bedding do all three: they relieve hardship for the homeless during the cold months ahead, bring joy and dignity to those who need it most, and help the environment by giving items a second life instead of going to waste.

📦 Donations will be collected at the DLC during Navratri Nights. Bring them along if you’re coming to Garba, or drop them off specially during the week.

Warm Trousers & Overcoats

How Ticket Releases Will Work

This year, we’ll be sharing the ticket link in advance, but don’t worry, the site will stay locked until the set release times.

For Members (YLS & LCNL Life Members):

Ticket sales open on Saturday 6 September 2025 at 9:00 am.

You’ll need the password to access the site. This has been communicated to Members via email. We will not share the password here.

The password will allow you to enter the site 15 minutes before launch so you’re ready when tickets go live. The password will not work prior to this.

For the General Public:

Ticket sales open on Sunday 7 September 2025 at 9:00 am.

No password is required.

Please Note:

Tickets will only populate on the website at 9:00am and not earlier. Please refresh the site at 9:00am.

You may be placed in a waiting room to regulate website traffic and demand.

Should you be unsuccessful at purchasing tickets during the Members release, you have the opportunity to try again during the public sale.

Due to high demand, it is strongly advised that you purchase tickets promptly to avoid disappointment. If you find that tickets are sold out for your preferred date, please check availability for the second date if you can attend that date.

The ticketing site may experience heavy traffic at launch. If the page crashes or stalls, don’t panic simply refresh your browser and try again.

A waiting room will help us manage demand, and ticket purchase limits will be enforced.

Each transaction allows up to 3 child and 3 adult tickets. If you need more, you can complete another transaction (subject to availability).

Join Us for International Women’s Day 2025 hosted by LCNL and YLS.

Following the outstanding success of last year’s sold-out event, with incredible feedback from attendees, we are thrilled to invite you to this year’s International Women’s Day 2025 celebrations.

This event is open to all genders and suitable for individuals of all ages.

With the powerful themes of Dignity, Purity, and Hope, this year promises to inspire, empower, and connect as we continue raising awareness about equality and inclusion. The day will feature keynote speakers and an engaging panel discussion.
