You know who’s a solid human being? Stewart. You may know him better as

You’ve seen him fighting for animals, writing books, outreaching to the youth, spitting vegan poetry, hanging out with his pigeon buddies, walking the collective liberation walk by showing up for a whole bunch of movements near and dear to him, raising his kids and being reluctantly willing to be photographed with me at a restaurant.

Well, he could use some help now. Stewart had to be rushed to the hospital for a pretty serious medical emergency. While he’s back home recovering, he needs some assistance from his community while he’s out of work. Let’s keep Stewart up, and get him back out there fighting. 💚✊🏻

Here’s a Reader’s Digest of every conversation happening this week on my timeline.

I state in no uncertain terms that I won’t vote for someone committing genocide.

Everyone and their neighbor tells me I have to vote for Kamala Harris or the end of the world is my fault.

I counter by asking them what is stopping them from telling Kamala that their vote is conditional upon an arms embargo to Israel.

They proceed to dance around the issue thinking all they need to convince me is more hysterics.

I point out said person’s inaction and indifference about Gaza.

Handwringing ensues.

You know I’ve been screaming at you all about Palestine for a decade now. Did you think I was joking? Did you think “No, they famously said Never Again, so another Holocaust could not possibly happen?”

You see regularly fundraising to get food and medicine and clothing to children in Gaza.

I regularly see your names absent from those list of donors. I regularly see you not engage with any of my posts about Palestine. I regularly see you look away when I beg people to share a post to help amplify my friend’s request for help.

In the past ten years I’ve met all kinds of people who care about Palestine, all of whom go to various lengths to help within the limits of their abilities.

You can’t honestly think there are a few words you can string together at this eleventh hour that will fool me into believing you have done your part to help.

If you have followed me for any of the last ten years, you can not pretend you don’t know. You cannot pretend you don’t know this was happening.

“You voting for anyone who supports a genocide is you actively supporting a genocide. Actively, because casting a ballot is an action. A physical, material, and quantifiable action.

You can make all kinds of excuses with your word acrobatics of “lesser evil”, “but Trump”, and whatever else you choose as a way to deny that you are emphatically supporting orphaning, maiming, starving, and killing children.

Support for a genocider is just as evil as genocide itself. “Lesser” or “greater” is simply semantics.

You can fool yourself into believing that you don't have a choice when we all know that you do. You can choose not to cast your vote for genocide and ecocide regardless of who you think is a winnable candidate. You can choose not to cast a vote for genocide and ecocide as someone with your own moral compass that remains unshaken by the fear of this, and the threats of that, and the other side.

You really believe, you really think that they could or would continue a genocide with your money if they knew that you would not put up with this? You really believe that they would continue this genocide for over a year if they knew that you could topple these war criminals off of their throne?

They’re counting on you and you aren't letting them down. They've got you and you’ve got them! It's a solid bond like a marriage where you're vowing your support that even a 2,000-pound bomb cannot shake. That even a genocide cannot shake.

By supporting a genocide and ecocide in writing with a full dark circle you are ushering in the next reassured and emboldened genocider and ecocider in Chief.

Yes, I am mad because before you were simply silent about this genocide knowing that they are using you and your tax dollars to fund this genocide, but now? Now you're opening up your wallets and raising millions overnight to take care of whom? Not the people who have been genocided, but to uplift the Vice-Genocider-in-Chief to become the next Genocider-in-Chief.

And you're telling me to shut up because at some point in the future, after you have finished wiping out Palestinians after you have finished unleashing and putting this war criminal on a bigger and higher throne, you have plans to reign them back in? Please save that word salad. It's yours to consume.”

I find it pretty revolting that the ONLY time Sacha Baron Cohen has broken character (as Brüno) was when he was being attacked -- BY HIS OWN PEOPLE IN ISRAEL -- because he was presenting as a homosexual.

Only then did he break character and beg them to stop -- because he was being treated the same way those Israelis regularly treat homosexuals in general and, more to my point, the Arabs he was passionately maligning as "terrorists" throughout his film.
