🎬 BRIEF REVIEW ON THE MOVIE ENERGY FOR ENERGY BY RUTH KADIRI (NOLLYWOOD MOVIE 2026).
“He thought she was beneath him… until the tables turned.”
Energy for Energy is an engaging Nollywood drama that shows how quickly power can change hands. The story follows an arrogant senior executive who looks down on a junior colleague, only to later find himself needing her help after she rises into an executive position.
The movie's strongest message is about humility and how people treat others when they believe they have the upper hand. The performances, particularly from Ruth Kadiri and Van Vicker, help bring the workplace conflict and eventual power shift to life. The film runs for about 2 hours 20 minutes.
🔥 HIDDEN FACT / DEEPER MEANING
The interesting hidden message isn't really a secret behind-the-scenes, fact—it is something the movie quietly teaches:
The person you underestimate today may become the person you need tomorrow.
The title “Energy for Energy” can be interpreted as the idea that the energy you give to people—whether arrogance, disrespect, kindness, or support—can eventually come back to you when circumstances change.
That's what makes the power reversal more meaningful: the movie isn't simply about revenge; it's about consequences, humility and changing positions.
