Friday oh yeah! Any big plans for the weekend?

You all know me. Work Saturday morning doing my side gig. Then 2:00 to 6:00 Saturday and Sunday on 99.7 Classic Rock.
Denim and Leather Saturday night at 11:00 p.m. after Alice's Attic and Sunday night at 8 pm.

We are exactly one month from Independence Day. This year the 4th is on a Saturday which means Denim & Leather will be on the air What should the theme of this show be? Album sides? A show of nothing but double shots?.. I know one thing for sure, it'll be a show with nothing but American bands!

My yearly trip to the avenue of flags, also to visit my father's flag. Seems like every year there's less people that come out. This year was a political year and usually you can see the local politicians, I didn't see any this year. Which I was happy to see, I personally don't need fake politicians showing up for a photo op Or how about the politician that only goes while they're in office and then when they lose their office they never show up again. I was happy to see the one local politician that is always been there again as they are leaving office. We go to honor the men and women that made the ultimate sacrifice. Also we're showing respect to their family that they have left behind..

Days like Memorial Day should never be a political day.
