I'm not gonna lie, I enjoyed streaming to Facebook. But unfortunately I'm most likely gonna have to bring it to an end. Simply due to quality issues. It's a shame because as a platform, Facebook is pretty amazing. I love the way the streams work, the way the schedules are handled, the idea of creating a series (that you can force to watch in a certain order), etc. There's s lot of potential here. But unfortunately for the gaming streams, the quality is just... Bad. Streaming on YouTube at an identical bitrate produced a much higher quality stream (albeit not perfect, but turns out my internet can handle more than what Facebook said it could, so I can increase the bitrate for higher quality). I'm on hiatus ATM as streams just haven't been producing enjoyment or fulfilment for me, at least recently. So I need to get to the bottom of what's causing that before I come back. Make sure you stay safe during this pandemic however.

So I definitely have a beef or two with Facebook Gaming, some of their things make no sense to me. But overall, I'm happy here at Facebook Gaming and plan to keep streaming here. There may be some streams over on my Mixer channel mind you, but the bulk of my streams should be here.

I'm really sorry about today's stream being cancelled. Unfortunately it's been one of those days where every bit of tech broke. I am currently trying to troubleshoot my PC and therefore have rescheduled this stream for Saturday at 11am.

In our last stream we tackled the main scenario, as well as the first 2 floors of Eden's Verse. Today we will complete the last 2 floors, and start getting to the bottom of all this.

It is with great pleasure that I can announce that I will be going to 2 conventions over the next 12 months. In May, I will be attending Play Expo Manchester, which I hope to meet lots of like-minded gamers at (and is a chance for me to push aside my fear that's stopped me returning over the last 6 years). Secondly, in February 2021 I will be attending Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival. Stay tuned as I'm hoping to do a cosplay with my best friend (search Cakemog on Twitter) for Fan Festival!

Additionally, I may be attending MixCon 2020 in July, down in Birmingham, should I decide to move my streaming back to Mixer. This event however is tentative. It has been interesting the past couple of streams here on Facebook Gaming. I'm not completely sold yet but I am aiming to trial it some more. I'll look to trial it at least until the end of February. Possibly through until the end of March. So far it's been meh. But we'll see what happens. I want to give it a fair chance.

So I've got my wireless display adapter, wired Continuum dock, and new phone. Turns out my old Windows tablet, and my Windows laptop, all support this wireless display too. Really useful. Going to be using these in application testing. Hope you all enjoy it.

Alright so I forgot to post the results like an idiot. I will be getting ready to trial out YouTube Gaming in the new year, as it won by a landslide. I doubt it'll stick though as I'm purely a streamer, not a YouTube video maker.
