Forget the boring, copy-pasted buildings of Lumiose City. Forget the illusion of RPG "choices" in the dialogue that are about as meaningful as deciding "Yes, I'd love a Pokeball" or "Sure, I'd love a Pokeball"

is actually a great game.

The real-time combat is surprisingly electric! Dodging, weaving, and perfectly timing a Mega Evolution. Awesome!

And the best bit? The OG Kanto Pokémon are back, including my little buddy Squirtle! Seeing that little legend on the big screen has me instantly stoked. 🥹

Sure, the graphics are a shame, but they're charmingly ignorable when you're doing battle against a long legged Starmie with your Mega Evolved Blastoise! This game is pure, unadulterated dopamine.
